The HPS SG3C0015KD 15 KVA Dry Type Transformer is a general-purpose distribution transformer rated for 600 volts and below, designed to supply power for appliances, lighting, heating, motorized machines, and other industrial loads. With a NEMA 3R enclosure, this transformer is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, offering protection against rain, sleet, and external ice formation. It is available in both copper and aluminum winding options to meet various application requirements.

For non-linear loads, the HPS SG3C0015KD and all standard DOE 10 CFR Part 431/TP1 transformers must be de-rated to accommodate additional heat generated by harmonic losses, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The HPS Sentinel K series is recommended for applications with significant harmonic distortion.
